With over 22 years of sales and marketing experience and the last 12 of those working with Aesthetic Medical Device organizations, Mr. Ellis brings an in-depth understanding of the aesthetic market and the key physician relationships to expand the miraDry business globally. Mr. Morgan joined Miramar Labs in July 2013 to head up the west sales region in the US and his responsibilities were quickly expanded to cover Latin America and Europe as well. Mr. Morgan has extensive experience in medical devices with key positions such as Vice President of Latin America for Syneron and Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Sound Surgical Technologies.
Mr. Tyson joins Miramar with several years’ experience in the aesthetic medical device arena having most recently been the VP of North American Sales for Zeltiq. Mr. Tyson also held previous sales management positions with Ulthera, Reliant Technologies and Thermage.
“I am excited about the future of miraDry in the U.S. and abroad. I believe with the aesthetic experience this seasoned leadership team brings to Miramar, we will quickly and efficiently grow both new system sales and procedure volume throughout North America” stated Mike Kleine, CEO of Miramar Labs. “And though I am enthusiastic with the great success outside North America, specifically in our Asian Pacific markets with the promotion of underarm odor reduction, I am equally excited about our potential to quickly and substantially increase our North American markets through expanded indications and new treatments”.
The miraDry System delivers energy non-invasively to the area under the arm where sweat glands reside, creating localized heat to destroy and eliminate those glands. Since sweat glands do not regenerate, results are lasting. The treatment is very effective and provides high patient satisfaction. On average, patients see more than 80 percent reduction in underarm sweat and report more than 90 percent satisfaction with the procedure results.
